Farewell, Pirate Nation

This says it all.  :)

For most of the last 11+ years, Greenville has been home.  I can't believe that it's been that long.  I came here for college and never truly left.  I've come to love life in a college town (minus the traffic and the train...no one likes the train).  This time of year, it's all about football.  Don't worry, I still have plans to make it back for a game (see you on BLACK FRIDAY).

Since moving here, I've lived in five dorm rooms and five apartments..whew! That translates into five roommates and tons of great friends.

I began running in Greenville as well and have made some fabulous running pals.  I will most definitely miss the flat terrain here (but not College Hill).

I also joined Oakmont Baptist and it's been a great church home.  Bonfires, thanksgiving dinners, a pirate statue scavenger hunt, you name it! I look forward to joining some of my Oakmont buddies for the Outer Banks Marathon in November.  Love you all! I'll be back to visit!

I spent six years in school (two degrees, not the six-year plan), switched majors and did two internships.  The Carolina Pregnancy Center was my first one.  They'll always be near and dear to my heart.

Bye, ECU, Greenville, and...PEE DEE the PIRATE! Arrgggh!
